Terms of service
Last updated October 1, 2026
These terms apply to merchants who install Mint Bulk Editor ("the app"), made by Mint Labs ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
The service
The app changes your products and variants on your instructions: it previews the changes you set up, applies them when you run the job (or at the time you schedule), and on request undoes them by writing back the values it recorded before each change. It also exports your products and, on Pro, imports changes from a CSV file. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a paid feature you rely on without notice.
Your responsibilities
You decide which products are changed and how, and you are responsible for your product data, prices and stock and for complying with the rules that apply to your business (for example rules about reference prices). Check the preview before running a job. The app changes each variant's base price; it does not change prices you fixed in market or B2B price lists. Keep your own exports as a backup if you need records beyond the undo history.
How undo works
Undo restores each field to the value it had right before the job changed it, but only if the field still shows the value the job set. Fields changed since (by you, staff, orders or other apps) are left as they are and reported. Stock and metafield values are written with Shopify's compare-and-set (removing a metafield is checked right before it's removed); Shopify has no conditional write for other fields, so a value edited at the same moment the app writes it can be overwritten. In a rare case (Shopify's reply to a stock change is lost, and the stock is back at its earlier quantity before the app checks it again) a stock change can be applied twice; each stock change is listed in the job's report. Undo is available for the undo history of your plan (24 hours on Free, 30 days on Pro) and cannot run while the app is uninstalled.
Billing
Plans are billed by Shopify every 30 days in USD after the free trial. You can cancel at any time by changing plans or uninstalling the app. Charges are handled entirely by Shopify under Shopify's terms. Undo is never limited by plan while a job is in your history.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the app available, accurate and secure and to run scheduled jobs on time, but it is provided "as is" and depends on Shopify's and our hosting provider's services. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 3 months before a claim.
Data processing addendum
The app does not process personal data of your customers: it has no access to orders or customers. It processes only your store's product data, the jobs you set up and the files you export or import. To the extent any information we process on your behalf is personal data (for example details of your own account), you are the controller and we are the processor, and we will:
- process it only to provide the app's features, following your instructions given through the app;
- process only the minimum needed, as listed in the privacy policy, and delete it at the end of the retention periods listed there;
- never sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models;
- keep it confidential and limit access to authorised personnel;
- encrypt it in transit (HTTPS) and at rest (Cloudflare D1 and R2 encryption at rest);
- use Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and job queue) and Shopify as our only sub-processors;
- delete all store data, including files, when Shopify sends the store deletion request after uninstall;
- help you respond to data requests and notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach.
Changes
We will post changes to these terms here and update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
