Getting started

1. Install Mint Bulk Editor from the Shopify App Store and open it.
2. New bulk edit: choose products (collections, specific products, vendors, types, tags, status, title or SKU text, price or stock ranges) and one or more changes — prices and compare-at prices (set, % or amount, with .99 / .95 / .00 endings), tags, title, vendor, type, status, SEO fields, SKU, barcode, weight or stock at a location.
3. Preview: every change is listed before → after, with anything skipped and why. Nothing has changed yet.
4. Run: the job page shows progress and then every change and its result. Undo puts every value back exactly, leaving anything changed since as it is.

Common questions

Undo didn't restore some values. Those fields were changed after the job (by you, a staff member, an order or another app), so the app left them as they are. They're listed on the job's page under "Changed since", with the value found.

Some items were skipped. The preview lists the reason for each one — for example, rounding would have cancelled a price decrease, stock isn't tracked or the variant isn't stocked at that location, or the change would leave a title empty.

The Free plan says too many variants match. Free changes up to 25 variants per bulk edit (25 products for product-only changes). Narrow the filter, run several smaller edits, or try Pro.

My import says a Variant ID looks shortened. Excel turns long numbers into "4.70123E+13". Export to Excel (.xlsx) instead of CSV for round trips, or format the ID column as text before saving.

Prices in other currencies didn't change. The app changes each variant's base price. Markets that convert from it follow automatically; prices you fixed in a market or B2B price list aren't changed.

How fast is it? The app follows Shopify's API limits for your store: on standard plans Shopify allows about 10 product updates per second, so changing prices on 1,000 products takes a few minutes (each extra kind of change adds a few more). Jobs keep running when you close the app.

Plans

Free changes up to 25 variants per bulk edit, with exports and 24 hours of undo history. Pro is billed through Shopify at $7.99/month after a 7-day free trial and adds unlimited bulk edits, CSV and Excel import, scheduled edits with automatic undo, metafields and 30 days of undo history. Change or cancel in the app under Plans.
